What Is Palumboism? Known as roid (as in steroid) gut or hormone growth gut, Palumboism is a condition seen only in bodybuilders. It is a condition in which a bodybuilder’s oblique muscles – the muscles beside the abdominal six-pack muscles – thicken to the point where it becomes difficult for the bodybuilder to hold the stomach.
